I'm Brandon Killen      I was born and raised in Corvallis Oregon and currently living in Salem Oregon. I love to travel as much as possible when I get the time to. My favorite place that I have traveled to would be Europe and seeing the arcutecture from the past, seeing the ruins of building that once were, as well as, the buildings that haven't fallen apart like the castles.      My first time doing photography was taking a class in high school doing film and a dark room. There was something about using a film camera, setting up the shot, then processing what you shot and watching the photo come to life. Learning the setting to make sure that you get the best shot. Without it being digital it forces you to learn the setting and learn more in depth of not just taking a photo, however, it's setting up the shot.      I started my photography business back in 2009 under the name of Back Light Productions. In 2021 I rebranded and changed the name to the present name of Pacific Northwest Photography + Film. I made the change because I felt as though it was more fitting to where and what I wanted to go as a photographer / filmer with the surroundings of where I live.
